This kit will convert your factory power steering to aftermarket power steering. The conversion box is a remanufactured modern integral power steering gearbox that provides a true modern power steering feel, feedback, and a sporty 16:1 ratio. The steering gearbox has been remanufactured to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and will fit the stock pitman arm without any interference or modification of the shock tower. 1965-66 Mustangs will require replacing the column shaft. Please note factory Ford pumps work fine with these kits above idle but will offer very little power assistance under 800 RPMs. Will not fit manual transmission cars equipped with a factory equalizer bar and must use a special equalizer bar or a clutch cable system. Will only fit vehicles with small-block Ford engines.

Features:

  • Converts factory power steering to aftermarket power steering
  • Kit includes steering linkage parts and a steering box
  • Steering box will bolt directly to the factory mounting location
  • Fit the stock pitman arm without any modification
